My name is Taylorann. I am 19 and currently entering my junior year of college. I go to school in Florida and am studying to become an elementary education teacher. This blog is a place to record all of my experiences in and out of the classroom and I'm very excited to share my stories with the internet!
Get To Know Me!
I am from Sandy Hook, Connecticut. I grew up in Danbury, Connecticut and then moved to Sandy Hook/Newtown in 4th grade. I attended private school for K-3 and then switched to public school in 4th grade. I have an older and younger sister. We have an abundance of dogs at home, 6 to be exact, and 1 cat. I did competitive gymnastics for 2 years in high school, danced for 8 years and competitive cheerleading for 11. I am on the cheerleading team at my school for the 3rd year and I love to cheer on our athletes.
I love the Harry Potter books and movies. I'm also a huge Disney fan. I like to pretend I'm artsy and can do a lot of DIY's but don't try many often to prevent any actual evidence to prove that I'm not artsy! I'm very outgoing and love working at Girl Scout camp during the summer. My plan for when I graduate is to buy a French Bulldog and name him Pancake because their faces are smushed and to buy a Jeep Wrangler and paint it Tiffany Blue. I traveled to Germany this summer and fell in love with Europe. The trip taught me a lot about myself and the people around me and I can never put into words how life changing it was. I'm anxiously awaiting the next time I can go back.
